We advise builders, real estate developers, architects, planners, engineering consultants and contractors in the development, planning and execution of projects and construction projects. Representation in construction proceedings is one of our core competencies.
The execution of construction projects does not always go according to plan. Therefore, even the drafting of contracts with the public authorities (contractual spatial planning), financiers, insurance companies, planners, engineers, professionals, etc. is of fundamental importance for a successful construction process. On a legally optimised contractual basis, rapid and economic strategies can be developed in the event of problems. Specific sets of rules and regulations such as country-specific building regulations, including the guidelines of the Austrian Institute of Construction Engineering (ÖIB) and relevant Austrian standards, in particular ÖNORM B 2110 etc., must be taken into account.
This applies all the more to construction processes. The enforcement or, respectively, defence of warranty claims and claims for damages before the court, claims arising from increased or reduced performance, the enforcement of claims for fees, etc. requires know-how and experience with the special standards of construction contract law.
