Supporting young students and aspiring legal talents by sharing our diverse experience with the relevant expertise is something that is really important to our law firm.
For this reason, we were very pleased to have recently supported the three-member student team (Aleksandra Markovic, Katharina Gächter and Fabian Abfalter) of the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck in their participation in the renowned ICC Arbitration Pre-Moot in Paris.
In October 2021, this year’s Moot Court case was announced, to be assessed by a total of 365 participating teams from 84 jurisdictions – using International Commercial Law and Arbitration Law. From 30.03. to 01.04.2022, the Innsbruck students were able to hold their own in four hearings at the ICC Pre-Moot against universities from Canada, Belgium, Kosovo and the USA in an international setting and achieved a very impressive 16th place in the overall Pre-Moot ranking, before the finals in Vienna from 09.04. to 14.04.2022.
We would like to congratulate our “future colleagues” on their achievement. They strengthened and expanded their legal skills at an international level.
