Just how diverse the legal profession can be is reflected in the numerous areas of activity outside the office.
For example, our partner Melanie Gassler-Tischlinger was back in Chicago on February 5th and 6th, 2024, to attend the Marketing Committee Meeting as a member of the Marketing Committee of the global lawyers’ network ALFA International (ALFAI).
Together with colleagues from international member firms, Melanie had the opportunity to help shape and drive forward strategy processes at a global level, to contribute to the further development of network-related services and to share her experience and perspectives.
Cross-border cooperation and mutual support not only strengthen global synergies among fellow lawyers, but also offer opportunities and added value for all sides, especially for clients.
Conclusion: Online meetings can be effective, but face-to-face discussion at the same table encourages and affirms joint decisions.
