Due to COVID-19, this year’s general assembly of Eurojuris International also had to be moved to the digital space.
This was a premiere: For the first time the congress of Eurojuris International took place virtually, from 12 to 16 October 2020. Our partner Barbara Egger-Russe, President of Eurojuris Austria, and associate Andrea Pegger took part.
In addition to the General Assembly there were also digital Practice Group meetings. Within the Practice Group “Corporate & Tax Law” Barbara Egger-Russe as Co-Chair discussed together with Andrea Pegger and about 20 other specialists from Europe the effects of COVID-19 on corporate law in the individual countries.
Barbara Egger-Russe also presented the project she initiated on comparative law issues in the field of corporate law on the topic “Liability of shareholders of a GmbH”.
