The XVI Annual Congress of the Austrian-Spanish Lawyers Association (ÖSJV) took place in Bilbao from 2 to 4 July 2026. Our expert in employment law and data & tech law, attorney Fabian Bösch, attended the congress as a member of the ÖSJV.
The ÖSJV promotes the exchange of experience and knowledge between legal professionals from Austria and Spain. A key element of this exchange is the annual congress, which addresses current developments across various areas of law.
This year’s programme focused on developments in employment law within the industrial sector, the EU AI Act, as well as data protection and copyright issues related to artificial intelligence—topics that are equally relevant for businesses and legal advisors.
The cross-border dialogue within the ÖSJV provides fresh perspectives on current legal issues and thereby also enriches day-to-day advisory practice.
We are already looking forward to welcoming the members to the 2027 Annual Congress in Innsbruck.
