On February 19, 2026, in the banquet hall of the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce, discussions took place regarding how increasing EU requirements, especially in the areas of cybersecurity and ESG, can be legally and strategically integrated along global supply chains.
In the first part, our partners Kristina Pegger and Georg Huber outlined the key legal guidelines:
- EU regulations: CSDDD, CSRD, NIS-2, CRA, AI Act – require integrated governance rather than isolated individual measures
- ESG reporting: An organizational and liability issue, not just reporting
- Cybersecurity: Part of corporate due diligence along the entire value chain
In the second part, we welcomed Helena Jochberger, Vice President & Global Lead Manufacturing & Consulting at CGI – an internationally sought-after expert on Industry 5.0, transformation, and resilience.
Her key message:
When implemented correctly, regulation can strengthen innovation, resilience, and data-driven business models.
One thing is clear:
Supply chain compliance is not an isolated legal issue. It is an organizational, technological, and management task all at once.
We would like to thank the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce for their cooperation and organization, in particular Sybille Regensberger, Head of Information & Consulting, who also gave the welcoming address, and Oswald Wolkenstein, Head of Industry.
At the same time, we would like to thank all participants for their interest and lively discussion.
