Moot Court Labour Law 2025 – A Valuable Practical Test for the Next Generation of legal experts

The best way to forge talented legal experts is still direct practical experience. As part of the Labour Law Moot Court, students from the University of Innsbruck once again brought a fictional case to life, demonstrating practical learning processes and effective teamwork.

This year, we had the pleasure of acting as practice partners for Lisa-Marie Schaller and Philipp Lechner. Our employment law experts, attorneys Melanie Gassler-Tischlinger, Laura Neururer-Blum and associate Vanessa Stummer, provided the students with intensive support during their preparations and accompanied them with practical tips right through to the simulated final hearing in the courtroom of the Innsbruck Higher Regional Court.

Congratulations to Lisa-Marie Schaller and Philipp Lechner on their outstanding performance. We were impressed by their commitment, excellent technical knowledge and rhetorical skills. It is a pleasure to work with such motivated young talents.

We would also like to congratulate the winning team and all other participants who surpassed themselves in this ‘practical test’.

Special thanks go to Prof. Diana Niksova and Assoc. Prof. Thomas Mathy from the Faculty of Law at the University of Innsbruck for the excellent organisation of this particularly valuable competition.
