On 31 May 2022, the hearing of this year’s “Environmental Law Moot Court” took place.
After a preparation period of almost two months, students from a total of six Austrian universities – with corresponding focuses in public (economic) law – competed against each other in this event, which was held online. The lawyers, grouped into five teams, were given the opportunity to prove themselves as fictitious negotiating partners and to “play through” the individual procedural steps on the basis of a real case.
Our lawyers Barbara Egger-Russe and Laura Neururer supported the Innsbruck team in their role and advised the young legal representatives in the past weeks. We look forward to discovering the result, to be announced at the final event on 21 June 2022.
