Lawyer Ivo Greiter was again unanimously elected Vice President of the Austrian Bar Association on 26 September 2019 in Salzburg.

According to its statutes, the Austrian Bar Association is committed to “safeguarding and promoting the interests of its members in general, and more specifically, their economic, social and professional interests”.
The association achieves these goals in particular through
- cooperation with professional organisations at home and abroad,
- defence against unfair interference in the professional activity of lawyers ,
- training and further education of office staff, and
- the organisation of events on explosive legal topics with leading experts according to the motto “lawyers think aloud and discuss highly topical issues”.
