The latest developments in international marketing law were discussed at the GALA Conference in Warsaw
On September 24th and the 25th, 2015 the annual GALA (Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance) Conference for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) members was held in Warsaw.
The Austrian GALA member taking part in the conference was our partner Dr. Stefan Kofler.
The conference was organised by the law firm SK&S – Soltysinski – Kawecki – Szlezak. SK&S is one of Poland’s leading law firms and is located in Warsaw.
Current marketing law issues were explored and discussed at the conference during a number of presentations to an audience made up of specialists from advertising agencies and the marketing divisions of businesses in various different branches.
The topics included advertising campaigns on the internet and social networks, marketing law issues related to alcoholic beverages and the latest developments in the advertising of foodstuffs.

The next GALA Meeting in spring 2016 is expected to be held in Chicago, the next GALA EMEA conference in Autumn 2016 will be in South Africa.
