Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partners advised the organic food retailer dennree in the acquisition of Zielpunkt stores.
Dennree Naturkost GmbH purchased stores from the insolvent Zielpunkt GmbH. Legal advice and support was provided by Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partners.
Dennree Naturkost GmbH is a fully owned subsidiary of the German dennree GmbH and runs organic food supermarkets under the name “denn’s”.
Dennree’s bid for 7 stores in Vienna and Graz was accepted by Zielpunkt’s liquidator. The Federal Competition Authority (Bundeswettbewerbsbehörde) and the Federal Anti-Trust Attorney (Bundeskartellanwalt) have given their okay for the locations in question.
At present dennree has about 450 employees in Austria and in 2015 had an overall turnover of around 56 million euros in 21 retail stores and around 100 owner-managed organic stores.
The team of specialists from Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partners handled the antitrust requirements and the notification of the Federal Competition Authority for dennree and advised them on all other relevant matters involved in the take-over, especially in questions of tenancy law.
