On 23.01.2020 the final hearing of this year’s Civil Law Moot Court took place at the Innsbruck Regional Court. Six teams professionally fought their way through three hearings and took on the role of the lawyers in front of the distinguished panel of judges, consisting of the Chairman Hon. Prof. HR Dr. Christoph Brenn, University Prof. Mag. Dr. Alexander Schopper and lawyer Dr. Christian Winder, MBL.
The team, consisting of Carlos Scheidle, Moritz Haller and Robin Eberle, supervised by the lawyers Barbara Egger-Russe and Silvia Moser and supported by Barbara Rainer of the law firm Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partners, had to deal with the issue of liability due to damage to a cable distribution cabinet and the related distinction between indirect and direct damage.
