Well worth the trip! Our partner Melanie Gassler-Tischlinger visited one of Canada’s most beautiful spots at the ALFA International Labour & Employment Seminar in Banff from 21 to 23 June 2023.
Breathtaking landscapes, endless horizons and natural treasures combined with interactive sessions and fascinating discussions on current labour law issues with an international dimension, as well as a diverse programme that was second to none: ideal conditions for productive work and lively networking with old friends and new acquaintances.
Melanie Gassler-Tischlinger participated as a panel speaker, where she explained compliance regulations in EU labour law together with her ALFAI colleagues Gero Schneider (Germany), Anneli Lönnborg (Sweden) and Elliot Miller (Colorado, USA). The focus was on the use of leave, whistleblowing, working time records and other documentation requirements.
