The administration of the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) is delighted about this particular honour.<\/em> In recognition of his outstanding performance in teaching and in academic quality assurance the International Association of University Professors (IAUP) conferred the prestigious International Education Faculty Achievement Award on the chairman of the\u00a0MCI School Faculty\u00a0 Dr. Franz Pegger.<\/em><\/p>\n The\u00a0IAUP is an international association of university and college presidents. Their main aims are to encourage academic cooperation and to promote internationalisation and the development of a\u00a0global vision for sustainable tertiary education. The\u00a0<\/em>International Education Faculty Achievement Award can be conferred by the IAUP to persons who have rendered outstanding work in furthering these goals. The work done by <\/em>Prof. Dr. Franz Pegger \u00a0was considered exemplary.\u00a0From an early stage Prof. Dr. Pegger\u00a0\u00a0was involved in the preparation work\u00a0 in developing and setting up the MCI and since then has been active as an inspiring teacher and competent legal counsel of the business school.\u00a0 In 2004 he was endowed with the title FH Professor and\u00a0in 2012 he was appointed chairman of the MCI School Faculty. <\/em><\/p>\n Professor Pegger is highly regarded for his extensive expertise, in knowledge, teaching and practice and has been a highly committed associate of\u00a0the MCI for many years. Prof.- Dr. Franz Pegger is the second person at the MCI to be honoured with the <\/em>International Education Faculty Achievement Award, it was also received by\u00a0Prof. Dr. Bernd Ebersberger in 2012.
