Together with ELSA Innsbruck, we discussed the legal pitfalls in the social media landscape: from TikTok to LinkedIn, from content creation to brand collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>Our IT, IP and employment law expert, <i>Fabian B\u00f6sch<\/i>, and our trainee lawyer, <i>Vanessa Stummer<\/i>, put together a \u2018menu\u2019 of practical insights into advertising law, data protection and competition law. Because behind every reel and every post lies more than just creativity \u2013 namely contracts, labelling requirements and clear boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s copyright in content or the correct handling of personal data: using numerous examples, it quickly became clear that social media can be as much a legal minefield as it is a stage.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to all participants for the lively discussion, the keen interest and the inspiring atmosphere \u2013 and to ELSA Innsbruck for the co-organisation.
