{"id":18407,"date":"2026-03-11T11:36:02","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T10:36:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lawfirm.at\/?post_type=news&#038;p=18407"},"modified":"2026-03-12T11:46:57","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T10:46:57","slug":"supply-chain-compliance-regulation-meets-future-strategy","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.lawfirm.at\/en\/news\/supply-chain-compliance-regulation-meets-future-strategy","title":{"rendered":"Supply Chain Compliance: Regulation Meets Future Strategy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 19, 2026, in the banquet hall of the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce, discussions took place regarding how increasing EU requirements, especially in the areas of cybersecurity and ESG, can be legally and strategically integrated along global supply chains.<\/p>\n<p>In the first part, our partners <em>Kristina Pegger <\/em>and <em>Georg Huber<\/em>\u00a0outlined the key legal guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EU regulations: CSDDD, CSRD, NIS-2, CRA, AI Act \u2013 require integrated governance rather than isolated individual measures<\/li>\n<li>ESG reporting: An organizational and liability issue, not just reporting<\/li>\n<li>Cybersecurity: Part of corporate due diligence along the entire value chain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the second part, we welcomed Helena Jochberger, Vice President &amp; Global Lead Manufacturing &amp; Consulting at CGI \u2013 an internationally sought-after expert on Industry 5.0, transformation, and resilience.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Her key message:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When implemented correctly, regulation can strengthen innovation, resilience, and data-driven business models.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One thing is clear:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Supply chain compliance is not an isolated legal issue.
