Keeping our finger on the pulse with new impulses. This has been an important principle of our law firm since our founding in 1897.<\/p>\n

Because: The future begins TODAY. Proof of this is the Legal Tech Conference in Vienna, which took place for the sixth time on 9 November 2022 and is considered the largest event on the digitalisation of the legal industry in the DACH region. This year, the industry get-together, which was organised by Future-Law and held in a hybrid format, focused on “the employees of the future” and the associated digital solutions in view of the shortage of specialists and workers, which (unfortunately) does not stop at the legal industry.<\/p>\n

After the ceremonial opening by Minister of Justice Alma Zadi\u0107, around 1,000 participants, including our partner Fabian B\u00f6sch<\/em>, together with around 100 industry experts, practitioners and legal tech providers, took a closer look at both technological and strategic solutions. In top-class panels, informative discussions and practical workshops, innovative implementation possibilities for coping with work were presented, and alternative job models were discussed. Speakers included Natalie Harsdorf-Borsch (Director General, Federal Competition Authority), Susanne Mortimore (CEO, LexisNexis) and Patrick Ratheiser (CEO & Co-founder, Leftshift One Software GmbH).<\/p>\n

The one-day conference thus offered a concentrated legal tech programme, plenty of space for inspiring talks and personal knowledge exchange, but above all numerous signposts to the digital future.
