Our law firm was awarded the Promoting-the-Best Award in the category “Women in Law: 21st Century Award – Law Firm” for the first time by Women-in-Law and the Association of Austrian Corporate Lawyers (VUJ). We are delighted – especially in our anniversary year “Celebrating 125 Years as a Law Firm” – to be able to accept this special award!<\/p>\n

The Promoting-the-Best Awards were presented for the fifth time in Vienna on 11 October 2022. They are intended to give recognition to committed and innovative law firms and female lawyers who promote or successfully implement equal opportunities between the sexes and\/or work-life balance concepts, or who have made a particular mark on the industry. Our firm was pleased to be nominated in not one but two categories.<\/p>\n

We were able to impress the jury with our structures for promoting the compatibility of work and family as well as the number of women at partner level (6 out of 13).<\/p>\n

Law firm partner Melanie Gassler-Tischlinger: “We attach great importance to accompanying and supporting young employees on their professional path. Personnel decisions are made according to objective criteria and therefore independent of gender. The award confirms that we are on the right track. We will continue to set a positive example in providing conditions for reconciling work and family life. Equal opportunity is a very important issue for us. We are particularly proud of our balanced gender ratio at partner level, which is currently only found in very few law firms.”<\/p>\n
