Environmental Moot Court – Victory for Team Innsbruck

The result of this year’s third Environmental Moot Court was very clear: the team from the University of Innsbruck, supported and coached by Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partners, received the most points by far of all the participating Austrian universities and won the competition.

In staged proceedings concerning the environmental approval of the Academy for Trainee Footballers in Liefering, the winning team from Innsbruck played the part of the “Environmental Advocacy of Tyrol” (Landesumweltanwaltschaft) and satisfied the jury, made up of members of all the participating universities. This meant that, for the first time, the winning team of the Environmental Moot Court was from Innsbruck.

We are very pleased with the excellent achievement of the winning team and would like to congratulate the members Johanna Neuschmid, Simon Oberbichler, Stefanie Präauer, Matthias Rief and Andreas Seelos, the coaches from Innsbruck University  ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Lamiss Khakzadeh-Leiler and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Arno Kahl and the coaches from our law firm, lawyers MMMag. Egger-Russe Dr. Herwig Frei and associate Ing. Mag. Andreas Schinner.
