At this year’s fourth Austrian Environmental Law Moot Court, Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partners once again coached the student team from Innsbruck University. The students were supported by our lawyers Herwig Frei and Barbara Egger-Russe as well as associate Andreas Schinner.
This year’s topic is the extension of the subway line U2 in Vienna. The team from Innsbruck has the roll of a neighbour raising objections against the project.
The simulated proceedings with the public authorities were held on May 18, 2017 at the headquarters of the “Wiener Linien” (Vienna Transport) and were attended by the Professors from the University of Innsbruck Dr. Lamiss Khakzadeh-Leiler and Dr. Arno Kahl. The students from Innsbruck did a great job.
Now it’s the “Team Authorities” turn to present their written decision. On June 22nd, 2017 the winner will be announced at the closing event in Vienna.
