On October 1 Dr. Josef Greiter moves his law firm to Innsbruck. |

Dr. Josef Greiter becomes a substitute member of the Tyrolean National Council. |
| 1926 |
Dr. Franz Greiter, Josef Greiter’s son, joins his father’s law firm. |
| 1929 |
Dr. Franz Greiter is elected into the Innsbruck City Council and becomes town councillor in 1933. |
| 1934 |
The democratically elected City Council is dissolved, Dr. Franz Greiter resigns from the Council. |
| 1938 |
In March 1938 Dr. Franz Greiter is arrested and detained for several weeks due to his ideological views. |
| 1941 |
Because of a critical report about arrests made in April 1941 Dr. Josef Greiter is disbarred and forced to resign on October 21, 1941. Dr. Franz Greiter runs the law firm on his own. |

Dr. Josef Greiter is readmitted to the Tyrolean Bar Association and continues to practice as a lawyer until the age of 90. |

From May 1945 to April 1946 Dr. Franz Greiter serves as Deputy Mayor of Innsbruck. |

Dr. Franz Greiter is elected Mayor of Innsbruck, capital city of the Tyrol, and re-elected in 1953. He continues running the law firm. |

After leaving the office as Mayor Dr. Franz Greiter practices full time as an attorney again. |
